Ghost in a shell
I investigate identity by using a mix of self portraits and home made wax casts. I’m interested in the liminal space between growing up and taking on an adult role in the context of feminine identity. I investigate domesticity and explore the space between representation and indeterminacy.
I question the links between tradition and identity, self-love and self-sabotage.
’Ghost in a shell’ displayed at 103 Trongate (Glasgow) has its continuation - ‘Shape Shifting Story’ - that opened at Tramway on the 10th of July 2019.
